With all the struggle and war in the world, yoga gives us a method to live well and contribute to the upliftment of the world.
It helps us be courageous when faced with fear, find equanimity in times of struggle, and be empowered when things feel overwhelming.
I’ve posted an article which expands on Ahimsa, the first ethical guideline of yoga. This article on How To Create Peace With Yoga And Meditation and offers an educated view of war and what we can do about it.
You will also find a video of a guided meditation for peace toward the end of the article, which means you can close your eyes and listen rather than reading the words of your meditation today.
I would love to know what you think of the meditation. If you wish, please comment at the bottom of the article. Let me know if it was helpful, or if there is anything I can do to better serve you in our collective quest for peace of heart and mind.
Never underestimate the power of your thoughts, your words, or your actions. Even the smallest silent blessing has impact. And when you are brave enough to stand up and speak your truth, you give others courage to do the same.
I found the meditation to be a calm, peace affirming energy permeating in and around me. It was also empowering to connect and share that with the rest of the world. This is a way for me as an individual to spread blessings on a global level. Thank you for a beautiful meditation.
Jerri, that’s beautiful. So glad you found a true connection with this meditation. Isn’t it wonderful to be able to reach out and shine love? The great thing is that as we heal the planet with this powerful energy, we also heal ourselves.
