I’ve probably mentioned this before, but it just amazes me how great my capacity is to find awe and beauty in them. Trees remind me to come back to my center.
They are living examples of the interconnectedness of all things.
Here’s a short video of an impromptu yoga/meditation practice I did in Redwood National Forest when I was there last.
As you watch the video, breathe deeply and feel your own connection to the trees of this planet.
Trees breathe us. In the complete awe and majesty I found in the Redwoods, surrounded by the biggest trees I’ve ever seen, I breathed SO deeply.
The air in those forests is so vibrant with life! I went hours without water or food, simply breathing all the sustenance I needed.
You can call on the energy of that deep forest breath at any time. Now is an especially good time!
Remember, as often as you can, that each and every breath you take is a living connection to the trees. They are the lungs of the planet, and anytime you send them gratitude they feel it!
Light up your heart with appreciation for these peaceful and mighty beings.
Infuse your breath with this feeling of humble honour, and feel Grace breathe new life into your own magnificent body.
Shanti Om
Great meditation. I went out and hugged a tree after watching it.
My Daddy hugged a tree! 🙂
